Electricity bill is similar with water bill.
1.After-pay
(release on 10th-15th every two month)
Electricity bills can also be paid on Wechat or Alipay utility page. Enter the electricity account and pay the bills (same steps with water paying). But remember to pay the bill within this month; otherwise the owner’s individual credit will be damaged.
2. Pre-pay
In newly-built houses, electricity should be charged in advance. Remember to check the balance regularly; suggesting topping up if it is below ¥100.
If the electricity in your account has been run out, wait for 5-10mins for recovery after charging. In some serviced apartments, A/C bill is a separate payment, check the balance and cost with the management from time to time (they will also remind you of the cost), in case the A/C doesn’t work after you have had paid electricity bills.
State Grid Corperation of China takes charge of the electricity bill, the bill is normally divided into two parts:
① Peak and valley electricity:price is lower at 21:00-8:00 than 8:00-21:00
② Ladder electricity:-Ladder 1: 0-230kwh-Ladder 2: 231-400kwh -Ladder 3: above 401kwh

We suggest topping ¥500 in your account if you live by yourself; topping up ¥1000 if you are a family.
Our rental agency will set reminders and write down the paying period of each house. Corresponding sales person would remind you of the cost, what you need to do is to transfer the right money and we will pay on behalf of you. The bill paper and invoices will be sent to you if needed.
