After-sales Ⅲ–Gas Bill
Gas bill is more complicated than water and electricity. Gas is usually uesd by gas stove, water heater or boiler. It is also divided into two categories, pre-pay and after-pay.
1.Pre-pay
-With gas card
That means you should firstly top up the gas card before using. The main gas company in SIP (Suzhou Industrial Park) is Suzhou Town Gas (苏州港华燃气), it offers online charging service in their Wechat Official Account: 苏州港华燃气有限公司
After topping up, remember to swipe the card on gas transfer machine which is usually in specific position in your community, and wait until the unit you charged showed on the screen.
After that, insert the gas card into gas meter in kitchen cabinet, the gas can be used after the number in gas meter changed.
-Without gas card
That means you don’t have gas card but have the gas account number, charge gas account on Wechat or Alipay utility page before using.
2. After-pay
A few gas in Suzhou is after-pay. That means the gas bill come out every two months, and you can pay the bill on Wechat or Alipay utility page after your gas account has been tied to them.
The price of gas is calculated as followings:

The price is for a civil year, e.g. 2021.1.1-2021.12.31, there will be a new round in 2022.1.1.
We suggest that:
-Switch off the gas handle when you are not at home for a long time in case of gas leakage.
-For pre-pay, because price is defferent in different usage, make use of the lower price range (0-300m³) can help you save some money. (For example, if you have used 200m³ from 2020.1.1 to 2020.11.25, you can still top up 100m³ for next year’s use before 2020.12.31)
-For pre-pay, at the beginning of the rent, we suggest topping up about 100m³ （about 300yuan） if you live by your self; 200m³ （about 500yuan） if you are a family.
-Check the meter battery first when you found it doesn’t work.
Our rental agency will set reminders and write down the paying period of each houses. Corresponding sales person would remind you of the cost of gas, transfer us the right money; then our after-sales assistant will pay on behalf of you. The bills or invoices will be sent to you if needed.
